    Todd,

Really enjoyed your services… the few I attended at CIB (watched more online). I appreciate your decision to move, and feel for the congregation you left behind. I don’t think I’ve heard/met to many ministers that refers back to the Biblical text as motivation… they way you did. I was reared in a church in GA that lean heavily on the healing message in the biblical text during sermons, and so few churches seem to focus on that these days. Of course, I was going to my ex-wife’s Catholic church services… so that might explain why.

I was wondering, does the Episcopal church congregation you’ve joined build their service the same way you did? I truly enjoyed hearing you speak, and if I ever returned to services, I’d like to hear the message delivered in the same thoughtful way.

Hey Brendan, sorry for the slow reply.

The congregation we attend has a very good, welcoming feel, and we have several different services with varying levels of formality. The 5pm evening service is very informal and comfortable with a high level of volunteer participation. The messages in all the services also tend to revolve around the themes of healing and acceptance that are so readily available in our scriptures. Please come and visit sometime and be sure to say Hi! http://stjohnsnorwood.org/

And thanks again for the many kind words.
      Peace, Todd
